Remember when Telegram Gifts were cheap and nobody wanted them? Yeah, we missed that too 🤡, so we built a Telegram gift game where your first gift is on us.

What is Gifters?

Gifters is a free Telegram game where you collect virtual gifts, and your collection mines Giftcoin. You play it inside Telegram at @freegifts: unwrap a free first gift, put your gifts on a shelf, and they earn Giftcoin every hour, even while you’re away. The gifts are virtual copies of Telegram gift collections, with the same kind of models, backdrops and serial numbers, so it’s an easy, free way to get to know Telegram gifts. Nothing in the game is a real Telegram collectible, and nothing can be cashed out.

Under the hood, Gifters is three things at once: a mining game, a source of free gifts, and a collector sim. Most people arrive for one of them and stay for the other two.

Gift2Earn: your collection is the mine

Tap2Earn games rewarded your thumb. Gifters rewards your collection. Every gift you place on your shelf mines Giftcoin each hour into a pouch, and a better collection is a bigger mine. Owning a gift isn’t the same as putting it to work, though: only shelved gifts earn.

The pouch holds a limited number of hours of income. Once it’s full, mining pauses until you come back and claim, so a quick check-in each day is the natural rhythm of the game. Your Gifter level decides how many shelf slots you have and how long the pouch can run on its own.

Arrangement matters too. Gifts that share a collection, a backdrop or a theme build “chemistry” and earn more together. The full mining-farm idea is in Gift2Earn: your collection is the mine, and the art of laying out a shelf is in the gift chemistry guide.

Free gifts, from the very first tap

FREE GIFTS? YES, PLEASE. 🎁 When you open the app for the first time, the screen says “Hey, we’ve got a free gift for you”. Tap “Unwrap my first gift box” and your gift is revealed straight onto your shelf, already mining. New players also start with a welcome Giftcoin balance, and if a friend invited you, there’s an extra bonus on top.

The free stuff doesn’t stop after day one. There’s a free daily box you unlock by finishing a few quick tasks, a seven-day streak that mixes Giftcoin and boxes, tasks that pay Giftcoin, and rewards for bringing friends along. Every free source, and how to get each one, lives in free Telegram gifts.

A collector sim for every Telegram gift collection

Ever wondered why two Plush Pepes aren’t worth the same? This is where it clicks. Every gift in Gifters is a virtual copy from a Telegram gift collection, from Plush Pepe and Toy Bear to Eternal Rose, Lunar Snake and many more. Just like the real ones, no two pieces are quite alike.

Each gift combines three traits: a model, a backdrop and a symbol. It also carries a serial number and a worth in Giftcoin. The traits, and how they combine, decide its rarity, from Common up through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Mythic to Unique. Collections come in limited editions, so every serial really is one of a kind. If those words are new to you, our rarity guide explains each one in plain language.

You build a collection by unwrapping boxes, bought with Giftcoin or Telegram Stars, and each box reveals one random gift. From there you can trade. The market lets you buy and sell at a fixed price, run auctions, make offers on any gift, or swap gifts with someone in a chat. If you’ve used Portals, it’ll feel familiar: the same kind of market, with virtual gifts and Giftcoin, free to start. The market guide walks through it.

There’s crafting for spare gifts, too. You combine gifts from one collection to craft a new one, sometimes a model you can’t get from boxes, but success is random and the gifts you put in burn even if the craft fails.

And there’s competition. Every day, the “Miners” board ranks players and the “Squads” board ranks teams by the worth of their collections, not by taps. Tables reset at 00:00 UTC, and the top places earn Giftcoin. Leagues, squads and King of the Hill has the details.

What’s real and what’s virtual?

Everything in Gifters is virtual. Gifts are virtual copies of Telegram gift collections: they’re not Telegram collectibles, they don’t appear on your Telegram profile, and you can’t withdraw them as real gifts or deposit real ones. Giftcoin is never sold and never paid out.

The part that touches real money is optional. Telegram Stars can buy boxes and conveniences in the Store, such as an extra shelf slot, but they never buy Giftcoin. As the app puts it: “Purchases use Telegram Stars. Giftcoin is never sold.” Giftcoin can’t be withdrawn as Stars, TON or money either; it stays in the game, where you mine it and spend it.

That makes Gifters an easy, no-pressure first step into Telegram gifts. You can learn what a backdrop is, how a market works and why a serial matters, all before you ever think about buying a real one. Or you can skip the learning part and just play.

One more thing that’s not the game: the free browser demo at play.gifters.space previews the gift roulette, and nothing you unwrap there carries over.

How do you start playing Gifters?

  1. Open @freegifts in Telegram. The older name @playgiftersbot opens the same app.
  2. Tap “Unwrap my first gift box”. Your gift lands on the shelf, already earning Giftcoin.
  3. Grab today’s free box from Home. When it’s ready, the main button reads “Unwrap for free”.
  4. Come back later and claim your pouch before it fills up, so your shelf never stops mining.

That’s the whole loop. For the detailed first-session walkthrough, read how to play Gifters.

What is $GIFT, and where is the official news?

Giftcoin is what your collection mines today. $GIFT is the planned token for Gifters on TON — follow @gifters_community for official news.

The plan for $GIFT is real purchasing power: buy real Telegram NFT gifts on TON with it, directly or by swapping to GRAM (TON). That’s what we mean by “Turn your $GIFT into REAL Telegram Gifts”. It’s a plan, and the Gifters Community channel is where any news about it will appear first.

As of October 2026, Gifters is available in English and Russian. If you get stuck, the Support Bot sits in the app’s chat list (/help for questions, /bug to report a bug). To hang out with other players, join We Are Gifters, where a live feed shares rare drops, crown takeovers and big market sales.

Play now, build your mine, and keep an eye on the $GIFT story. Got a quick question first? The Gifters FAQ has short answers. 🚀
