Not all Plush Pepes are equal. Two gifts from the same collection can look like twins or like strangers, and once you know where to look, the difference is right there on the card.
How does Telegram gift rarity work?
In Gifters, every gift is a virtual copy from a Telegram gift collection, and it combines three traits: a Model (how the item itself looks), a Backdrop (the background behind it) and a Symbol (the small pattern on that background). Each gift also has a Serial number and a Worth in Giftcoin. Those traits, and how they combine, decide its rarity tier, from Common up to Unique, its worth, and how much Giftcoin it mines once it’s on your shelf. As of October 2026, that’s how every collection in the game works.
Collections, models, backdrops and symbols
Start with the collection. It’s the family name: Plush Pepe, Toy Bear, Eternal Rose, Lol Pop, Jester Hat, Crystal Ball, Lunar Snake and many more. If you want to browse them all, “Explore all collections” on your profile opens the Gift Explorer, which is a good place to learn what each family can look like.
Inside a collection, the three traits do the real work. The Model is the design of the gift, the Backdrop is the color and setting it sits on, and the Symbol is the motif scattered across that backdrop. Change any one of them and you have a different piece, even though the collection name hasn’t moved.
That’s why collectors read the traits before they read the name. A Lunar Snake is a Lunar Snake, but a Lunar Snake with a model and backdrop you’ve been chasing is a very different thing to hold.
Serials and limited editions
Every collection is a limited edition. Supply is finite, so each Serial number belongs to exactly one copy, and the number on your gift is genuinely one of a kind.
The Serial is how you tell copies apart, even when two gifts share most of their traits. It’s also what makes owning a piece feel personal: nobody else holds that number in that collection.
Everything here is virtual. Gifters gifts are copies of Telegram gift collections, not Telegram collectibles. They don’t appear on your Telegram profile, and they can’t be withdrawn as real Telegram gifts.
The seven rarity tiers
Every gift lands in one of seven named tiers. From most common to rarest, they are Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Unique. You’ll see the tier the moment a gift is revealed.
Think of the tier as the headline and the traits as the story. The tier tells you roughly where a gift sits, while the Model, Backdrop, Symbol and Serial tell you exactly which piece it is.
Unique gifts also have a special place on the shelf: they always arrive with full chemistry, the bonus that lifts a shelved gift’s hourly income. How that works for everything else is in the shelf chemistry guide.
Why worth is the number that matters
Worth is the Giftcoin value attached to each gift, and it’s shaped by the traits above. It matters in two places. On the shelf, better gifts earn more Giftcoin every hour. On the daily leagues, Miners and Squads are ranked by the combined worth of your gifts, not by how often you tap. The boards themselves are covered in leagues, squads and King of the Hill.
One weekly twist feeds into worth. Each Monday the game picks a hot backdrop of the week, and a gift unwrapped with that week’s hot backdrop keeps a worth multiplier forever. A gift from a quiet week and one from a hot week can carry the same traits and still differ in worth.
Shelf chemistry, on the other hand, never touches worth. Matching gifts on your shelf raises their hourly income, but the worth on each gift stays exactly where it was. Keep the two ideas separate and the numbers on the card make a lot more sense.
Choosing a rarity floor on paid boxes
Boxes are where most gifts come from. The free daily “Everyday box” and the paid “Bronze”, “Silver”, “Gold” and “Ultimate” boxes each reveal one gift, and what you get is random. Paid boxes can be opened with Giftcoin or Telegram Stars.
On a paid open you’ll see a “Minimum rarity” picker with “Any”, “Rare+”, “Epic+” and “Legendary+”. A higher floor costs a higher price and guarantees at least that tier. It doesn’t choose the Model, Backdrop, Symbol or Serial, so the rest of the reveal is still a surprise.
Reading two gifts side by side
The best habit a new collector can build is comparing before deciding. Put two gifts from one collection next to each other and walk the card from top to bottom: tier, Model, Backdrop, Symbol, Serial, worth. Any difference in those lines makes them different pieces with different jobs.
From there, each gift has a natural home. A strong piece belongs on the shelf, where it mines and adds to your league standing. A spare from a collection you’re deep in might be crafting material; the crafting guide explains the trade-off, including the risk. And a piece you won’t shelve or craft is a candidate for the market, where these same traits are what buyers look at first.
Next time a box opens, read the card before you tap “Sell”. The traits are the whole story of a gift, and learning them here, for free, is the easiest first step into how Telegram gift collecting works.
Questions players ask
Are Gifters gifts real Telegram gifts?
No. Each gift is a virtual copy from a Telegram gift collection. It doesn't appear on your Telegram profile, you can't withdraw it as a real Telegram gift, and you can't deposit a real gift into Gifters.
What makes one gift rarer than another?
Every gift combines a Model, a Backdrop and a Symbol, and carries a Serial and a Worth in Giftcoin. Those traits, and how they combine, shape its rarity tier, its worth and how much Giftcoin it earns on your shelf.
What are the rarity tiers in Gifters?
From most common to rarest: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic and Unique. You see the tier on the gift as soon as it's revealed.
What does Minimum rarity do on a paid box?
On a paid open you can pick Any, Rare+, Epic+ or Legendary+. A higher floor costs more and guarantees at least that rarity. Everything else about the gift is still a random reveal.
