Tap2Earn is dead. Gift2Earn is 2026. 🪙 Here’s the idea behind it, and why your gift collection is the mine.
What is Gift2Earn?
Gift2Earn is the core of Gifters, a free Telegram mining game where your collection of virtual gifts is the mining farm. Gifts you place on your shelf mine Giftcoin every hour, even while you’re away, and you come back to claim it. A bigger, better collection is a bigger mine. It’s a game mechanic, not an income: Giftcoin is the in-game currency, it’s never sold, and it’s never paid out as Stars, TON or money.
Mining depends on the farm, not the wallet
Hamster Kombat made a sharp point about mining. Bitcoin mining doesn’t depend on the balance of your wallet, only on the capacity of your mining farm. Their token, the pitch went, wouldn’t be one big drop but gradual mining: build your mine and let it run.
Gifters takes that picture and swaps the hardware: in Gifters, your beautiful gift collection is the mine, and it mines your Giftcoin.
So a fat Giftcoin balance doesn’t mine anything by itself. Capacity is what counts, and capacity is the gifts on your shelf. Tap2Earn rewarded how fast your thumb moved. Gift2Earn rewards what you’ve collected and how well you’ve set it up.
Shelf slots are your farm’s capacity
Owning a gift and shelving it are two different things. Only shelved gifts mine. A rare piece sitting in your collection still adds to your worth, which matters for leagues, but it won’t earn a single Giftcoin until you give it a slot.
Your Gifter level sets how many slots you have, along with how many hours your pouch can hold. Level up and the farm grows. The Store also sells an “Extra shelf slot” and a “Pouch extender” for Telegram Stars; they make the farm bigger, but they never sell you Giftcoin.
The practical takeaway is simple. An empty slot is capacity you’re not using, so fill every slot you have, and swap in better gifts as you find them.
Chemistry is your farm’s efficiency
Two farms with the same number of slots can mine at very different speeds. The difference is chemistry. Shelved gifts that share a collection, a backdrop or a theme build up to three “chemistry diamonds”, and those diamonds raise each gift’s Giftcoin income. Each gift counts its strongest link, so the three kinds don’t stack, and Unique gifts always come with all three diamonds.
On top of that, there’s a hot backdrop every week and a bonus for a full shelf where every gift has three diamonds. Boosts add together up to a cap per gift. Chemistry only changes what a gift earns, never what it’s worth. Grouping a shelf on purpose is a craft of its own, so it has its own page: the gift chemistry guide.
The pouch is the storage you empty
Every hour, your shelf drops its Giftcoin into your pouch. The pouch’s capacity is measured in hours, and when it’s full, mining pauses until you claim. Claiming moves that Giftcoin to your balance and gets the farm running again.
That’s the whole “while you’re away” mechanic. Leave, let the shelf work, then come back and empty the pouch. Skip the claim for too long and your farm sits idle, waiting for you.
Everything here is virtual. Your gifts are virtual copies of Telegram gift collections, and the Giftcoin your shelf mines stays inside the game. A bigger mine means a stronger collection, not money in your pocket.
Leagues rank the whole farm by worth
Mining is half the story. The other half is how your farm stacks up against everyone else’s. Under “Leagues”, two daily boards do the comparing: “Miners” ranks you as a solo player, and “Squads” ranks teams by their members’ combined gift worth.
Both rank the worth of your gifts, not how much you tapped. Tables reset every day at 00:00 UTC, and the top places earn Giftcoin. There’s a league ladder with promotion and demotion, squad wars for teams that want a fight, and a King of the Hill crown in each Miners room. All of that is covered in leagues, squads and King of the Hill.
This is where the farm metaphor pays off. A collection that mines well and a collection that ranks well are built the same way: better gifts, well chosen, actually on the shelf.
Where does $GIFT fit in?
Giftcoin is what your collection mines today. $GIFT is the planned token for Gifters on TON — follow @gifters_community for official news.
The plan for $GIFT is real purchasing power: buy real Telegram NFT gifts on TON with it, directly or by swapping to GRAM (TON). Both are plans, and the Gifters Community channel is the only official place to hear about them.
