Every collector eventually has a gift they’d trade and a gift they’d love to own. The Gifters market is where those two meet, and it works with virtual gifts and Giftcoin, so it’s a free, low-pressure way to learn how gift trading feels.
How do I buy and sell Telegram gifts in Gifters?
Open the Gifts hub and switch to the “Market” tab. To sell, pick a gift and choose a quick sell at a quoted Giftcoin amount, a fixed-price listing with “List for sale”, or “Create an auction”. To buy, tap “Buy gift” on a listing, or “Make an offer” on any gift, listed or not. Listings are priced in Giftcoin, and buyers can also pay with Telegram Stars. Everything traded is a virtual copy of a Telegram gift collection, not a real Telegram gift. It’s a Telegram gift market built for collecting and learning, free to start.
Familiar if you’ve used Portals
If you’ve used Portals, the Gifters market will feel familiar: the same kind of market screens for browsing collections, listing gifts and placing offers, but with virtual gifts and Giftcoin. That makes it a comfortable place to learn the ropes before you ever spend real money on an on-chain gift, or simply a fun market to play in for its own sake.
Gifters gifts are virtual. They don’t appear on your Telegram profile, you can’t withdraw them as real Telegram gifts, and you can’t deposit real ones to sell.
Three ways to sell
Quick sell is the instant option. The app quotes a Giftcoin amount, you accept, and the gift is gone from your collection. You don’t set the price, so it’s best when speed matters more than squeezing out the last bit of value.
A fixed-price listing starts with “List for sale”. You set the price, the gift waits in “My listings”, and a buyer takes it with “Buy gift”. A seller fee applies, lower for Gifters VIP, and the app shows it before you confirm.
An auction starts with “Create an auction”. You choose a start price, an optional buy-now price and a duration, and the highest funded bid wins when time runs out. Auctions suit standout pieces where you’d rather let interested collectors compete than guess the number yourself.
Offers and collection offers
As a buyer, you don’t have to wait for a listing. “Make an offer” works on any gift, listed or not, and the Giftcoin you offer is reserved until the owner accepts or the offer expires. While it’s reserved you can’t spend it elsewhere, so offer what you’re happy to tie up.
A collection offer goes one step broader: it bids on any gift from a collection rather than one specific piece. It’s the right tool when you want into a collection and don’t mind which model, backdrop or symbol you get. When you’re after one exact combination, make the offer on that gift instead.
Paying with Telegram Stars
Listings can also be bought with Telegram Stars, and in that case the seller is paid in Stars. That’s a way to pay for the gift, nothing more. Purchases use Telegram Stars, and Giftcoin is never sold; it also can’t be cashed out as Stars, TON or money. More on what Giftcoin is and isn’t lives in the Giftcoin guide.
Price alerts, sending gifts and swaps
Price alerts arrive as Telegram notifications, so you can wait for the right listing without keeping the market open. Send gift moves a gift straight to another player; a transfer fee applies.
Swaps happen in chat. Open a conversation, tap “Propose swap”, and each side adds gifts, Giftcoin or both. Everything is reserved until both players accept, and a small fee applies. Swaps are ideal when you and a friend each have the piece the other wants and neither of you wants to sell first.

How to price a gift from its traits
Start with the card, not just the collection name. The Model, Backdrop and Symbol define the piece, the rarity tier names where it sits, and the Serial marks that copy as one of a kind, since each collection is a limited edition. The rarity guide explains each trait in plain words.
Worth is the Giftcoin value the game attaches to the gift, and it’s what the daily leagues add up. Your asking price is a separate decision: it’s what you think another collector will pay. A gift that shares its collection with many others but has a rare combination of traits can deserve a price well above its plainer siblings.
Two things are easy to over- or under-price. Chemistry diamonds don’t belong in the price, because they only raise income on your shelf and never change worth. Craft-only models, on the other hand, can’t come out of a box at all, which is worth keeping in mind when you see one; the crafting guide explains how they’re made.
Before you sell a shelved gift
Selling a gift that’s on your shelf also gives up the Giftcoin it mines every hour, any chemistry it brought to its group, and its worth on the leagues. Sometimes that’s the right trade, especially for a duplicate, but it’s worth a second look first.
A simple order works well: read the traits, decide whether the gift should stay on the shelf, then pick quick sell, a listing or an auction. And if you’re new, “Buy or sell a gift on the market” shows up among the daily tasks, so your first trade doubles as a good way to learn the screens.
Questions players ask
Can I buy or sell real Telegram gifts on the Gifters market?
No. The market trades virtual copies of Telegram gift collections. A gift you buy doesn't appear on your Telegram profile, you can't withdraw it as a real Telegram gift, and you can't deposit a real gift to sell.
What's the difference between quick sell, a listing and an auction?
Quick sell is an instant sale for a quoted Giftcoin amount. A fixed-price listing waits for a buyer at the price you set, and a seller fee applies. An auction has a start price, an optional buy-now price and a duration, and the highest funded bid wins.
Can I buy Giftcoin with Telegram Stars on the market?
No. Giftcoin is never sold. A buyer can pay for a listing with Telegram Stars, and then the seller is paid in Stars, but that buys the gift, not Giftcoin.
What happens to my Giftcoin when I make an offer or propose a swap?
An offer reserves your Giftcoin until it's accepted or expires. In a swap, everything both sides put in is reserved until both players accept, and a small fee applies.
