How do I invite friends to Gifters?

Open “Friends” on your Profile, copy your invite link and send it. It looks like t.me/freegifts?startapp=ref_<your code>. Your friend gets a free first gift plus an extra Giftcoin welcome bonus when they unwrap it. You get Giftcoin for each friend who joins and qualifies, which means they finish onboarding and unwrap a few boxes; simply opening the link doesn’t count. There’s a daily cap on rewarded friends, and referral milestones add extra rewards as your invites add up. The exact amounts are shown in the app.

Your link carries your personal code, so always send the whole thing. That’s how Gifters knows the new player came from you.

  1. Open “Friends” on your Profile and tap “Copy invite link”.
  2. Send it to someone you think will enjoy collecting, in a DM or a group they’re active in.
  3. Your friend opens it and lands in @freegifts, where the screen says “{name} has a free gift for you”, with your name in it.
  4. They tap “Unwrap my first gift box”, and their first gift lands on their shelf, already mining Giftcoin.

From here, two separate things happen: your friend gets their welcome rewards straight away, and your referral reward waits until they’ve properly started playing. Keeping those apart saves a lot of “is my link broken?” moments.

What your friend gets

Your friend gets everything a new player gets, plus a little extra for arriving through you. That means a free first gift, a welcome Giftcoin balance, and an additional welcome bonus in Giftcoin at the moment they unwrap that first gift.

For many people, this is their very first Telegram gift of any kind, so give them the one-line explanation: it’s a virtual copy of a gift from a real Telegram collection, with its own model, backdrop and serial number. When your Giftcoin lands

Rewarded friends have to actually play. Someone who only opens your link doesn’t qualify, and there’s a daily cap on how many friends can be rewarded.

Because of that cap, dropping your link into a huge chat in one go isn’t the clever move it sounds like. A few friends who’ll really collect are worth more than a crowd of one-tap visitors. As your invited friends add up, referral milestones unlock extra rewards along the way.

Referral rewards are Giftcoin, the coin your collection mines. It stays inside the game: it can’t be bought, and it can’t be cashed out as Stars, TON or money. Purchases use Telegram Stars; Giftcoin is never sold.

The 3-friends offer runs on its own timer

New players may also see a time-limited offer: “Invite 3 friends, get 3 gifts for free”. It’s separate from the referral reward above, and it plays by different rules. The offer pays out in gifts, it counts your friends’ first unwraps, and those unwraps have to happen before the timer ends.

That means a friend can complete the offer for you without having qualified for the referral reward yet, or the other way round.
